A simple, modular DIN rail stand designed for bench testing industrial automation and control hardware without permanently mounting a DIN rail to your workbench. I designed this for prototyping and testing PLCs, Arduino Opta controllers, relays, terminal blocks, power supplies, and other DIN rail-mounted components in the lab. The stand uses a standard DIN rail as the crossmember, so you can cut the rail to whatever length works for your setup. The two printed side supports hold the rail upright and provide a stable, portable platform that can be moved around the bench as needed. Why I made it When I'm developing or troubleshooting automation systems, I frequently need to temporarily mount DIN rail hardware. Laying everything loose on the bench works—but it's messy, harder to wire, and doesn't represent how the hardware will actually be installed. This gives me a small, reusable test rack that I can configure for each project and tear down when I'm finished.
